Key Leader Engagement Planning Services Macdill Air Force Base Tampa FL The Key Leader Engagement Planning Services assists the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the plans and policy directorate task area. The positions primary mission involves assisting and advising the COMUSMARCENT in jointlevel and servicelevel planning deliberate planning crisis action planning force deployment planning and requirements development validation and prioritization. The Key Leader Engagement Planning Services directly supports plans and policy under the MARCENT G5 including assisting in the management of the Key Leader Engagement (KLE) Coordination and MARCENT KLE Program to ensure the efficient of MARCENT OAMS tasks. The Key Leader Engagement Planning Services will perform the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide Key Leader Engagement (KLE) Coordination services.
- Assist in the management of the MARCENT KLE Program.
- Coordinate with the CENTCOM TSC Branch KLE Branch and the Commanders Action Group (CAG) to ensure that MARCENT KLEs are nested with the CENTCOM CDRs priorities and themes by country.
- Maintain MARCENT KLE related web pages historical files and other required documentation.
- Assist the KLE Officer in preparing KLE plans and coordinate all requirements for COMUSMARCENT AOR trips.
- Maintain oversight of all HQ Marine Corps KLEs to the CENTCOM AOR. The contractor shall provide planning and tracking of COMUSMARCENT AOR KLEs and National Capitol Region (NCR) KLEs.
- Assist in preparing Trip Books for the Commander and Staff to include talking points scene setters biographies and AARs.
- Prepare thank you notes and maintain historical files for all completed KLEs.
- Coordinate KLE quarterly reviews with the MARCENT SC Branch to ensure the KLE program is in line with SC goals and requirements.
- Update and track all KLE actions reflected on the CENTCOM KLE Portal and Calendar and upload all KLE readouts and AARs in a timely manner.
- Attend planning conferences and working groups.
- Provide In Progress Reviews (IPRs) on planning efforts to COMUSMARCENT develop assessments briefs information papers and standard naval messages.
- Support the planning coordinating and managing of conferences as well as supporting internal MARCENT working groups.
EDUCATION - HS diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum ten years of military experience.
- Experience managing Key Leader Engagement (KLE) programs including planning coordinating and tracking KLE activities.
- Experience maintaining web pages historical files and documentation related to KLEs.
- Experience in preparing comprehensive trip books including talking points scene setters biographies and After Action Reports (AARs).
- Experience in tracking KLE actions updating portals and calendars and providing In Progress Reviews (IPRs) and assessments.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities - Expertise in managing and coordinating Key Leader Engagements ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Strong understanding of strategic and operational planning particularly in the context of highlevel engagements.
- Proficiency in maintaining and managing documentation web pages and historical files.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word Power Point Excel etc. desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS - Travel is required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid drivers license current automobile insurance and a driving record that is acceptable to the companys auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE - A Secret clearance is required for this position.
