Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turnkey construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking anAssemblerwith excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at ourClinton NCManufacturing location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with bolts screws speed clips rivets or other fasteners.
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and sers to produce close fit between parts.
- Operates drill presses pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations
- Adhere to all safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand English and communicate effectively.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Read tape measure.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently on a daily basis.
- Frequent bending moving materials in a variety of different work stations.
