Job Description
Our clientaleader in life sciences and diagnostics is looking for a Global ProjectManager based out of Santa Clara CA.
Duration: Long TermContract(Possibility Of Further Extension)
The ProjectManagement team works as part of the Portfolio and Project Management functionto help eachcustomer area track and manage their portfolio from a strategic vantage point.Plays a key role in optimized product delivery accountable for all the projectmanagement aspects of various projects from simple to complex in nature. Takesproject/product from the original concept through completion. Develops anddirects detailed work plans schedules project estimates spending resourceplanning and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for thedefinition and implementation of project risk mitigating measures. Reportsproject goals (e.g. KPI) to enable teams and functions to measure and improvequality efficiency and effectiveness. Recommends and takes action to analyzeand find solutions to problems.
Responsibilities:
- Sets up &implements project/program/product structures for product development & productcare activities including communication management timelines resource and budgetplans progress and cost control
- Creates coordinates and maintains integrated project plans includingdependencies resources and budgets allowing the teams to work efficiently andeffectively
- Consistently executes project management processes including guiding andmanaging preparation for milestone reviews capacity reviews (cQCR SCR &fQCR) etc. as applicable & may lead improvement initiatives
- Selects project methodology and applies Agile methods as appropriate includingcoaching and guiding teams in project methodology including agile practices
- Follows best practicesin project/product teams and fosters continuous improvement by sharing bestpractices and knowledge among peers
- Manages meetings and may manage knowledge sharing between project/product teamsand subchapters to enhance project effectiveness and optimized delivery
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelorsdegree in science engineering or businessrelated fields; higher level degree& PMP Certification highly preferred
- Minimum 8 years project management experience in the diagnostic medicaldevice pharmaceutical or biotech industry leading complex new productdevelopment and product care projects
- Experience with Agile development practices and mindsets is a plus
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g. FDA 21 CFR part 820 ISO 13485 ISO9001
- Demonstrated experience in project management with a proven track record of effectivelymanaging multiple projects / priorities simultaneously
- 10 travel involved
