Position Summary:
Currently we are seeking a Mechanical Facilities Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in the design development optimization problem solving and operation of the Maumelle site facilities utilities equipment & supporting processes in a manner that meets safety and operational performance expectations. The individual will report to the Maumelle Engineering Manager.
Area & Equipment Support includes the following:
- Boilers
- Fresh Storm and Waste Water
- Chilled Water Systems (Chillers Cooling Towers)
- Compressed Air & Dryers Systems
- HVAC Air Handling Systems
- Roofs Drains & Building Structure
- Underground utilities
- Natural Gas
- Utility contract support department allocation & monthly accruals
- Refrigeration Management
- Critical Equipment Management
- Fire Life Safety
Key customers:
Sector Management Project Sponsors Staff Engineering Portfolio Leaders Mill Leadership and Mill Asset Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes policies and guidelines.
- Provide for the safety and wellbeing of operators maintenance and other personnel.
- Lead single or multiple capital or major maintenance projects.
- Provide functional guidance in the design development and optimization of facilities & utility equipment and processes.
- Seek recognize define and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.
- Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
- Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise.
- Manage site contractors & utility contracts
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university and 3 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments.
- Experience leading capital projects adhering to Kimberly Clarks capital practices standards and CFIs.
- Experience working with external technical service providers
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific in depth technical knowledge and expertise in Coform manufacturing or converting processes. Evidence of continuing selfdevelopment. Familiarity with equipment installations and startups. Working knowledge of facilities & utilities equipment

The anticipated base pay range for this job has a range of $86000 to $106000
