What you will do:
Cineplex Entertainment headquartered in Toronto Ontario is currently recruiting for the position ofReceiver and Amusement Host West Edmonton Mall The Rec Room reporting to the Senior Service Manager South Edmonton The Rec Room.This position will be based at ourWest Edmonton EdmontonRec Room located at St NW Edmonton AB T5T 4J2.
The Receiveris responsible for the efficient and accurate receiving checking and processing of all incoming shipments. This includes verifying quantities inspecting for damage and updating management.
The Amusement Host will be responsible for providing consistently highlevels of customer service to all amusement guests by providing prompt service and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all games attractions redemption items entertainment options and daily specials. The Amusement Hosts perform these customer service duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times and ensure that the guest has an enjoyable experience.
Job Duties:
Unload shipments from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
Verify the quantity and condition of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Ability to operate material handling equipment (preferred but training available).
Upselling games by showing guests game operations encouraging guests to play and creating an overall fun playful environment for them.
Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean wellmaintained and fully operational and assisting with restocking the Store.
Being a trusted resource for guests inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venues pricing for special events promotions and daily events.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proserve
Prior experience in a warehouse or receiving environment preferred
