Description

We are looking for an Engineer in Development with an opportunity to have a significant impact on the Professional Tools business.The Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a threeyear development program designed to provide a range of development opportunities focused on engineering to help recent university graduates build critical skills as they gain a wellrounded experience within our organization. These structured experiences will expose participants to several elements of our development process and provide real opportunities to collaborate with other employees and management receive mentoring gain multifunctional experience and receive formal training. Rotational assignments include Manufacturing Engineering New Product Development Sustaining Engineering and Continuous Improvement.

This role based in Rockford IL will collaborate with very hardworking individuals dedicated to revolutionizing the industry! Youll apply the latest technologies equipment and research facilities to bring your ideas to life. Your responsibilities will consist of product development sustainability and research. You will have the opportunity to develop new products for our customers designed to meet their specific needs. These products include plumbing and electrical tools accessories and new market applications.

In this role your Responsibilities Will Be:

Expected Start Date: May 2025

For this Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • comfortable with up to 10 travel
  • Able to relocate for positions as required
  • GPA of 3.25 or above

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Engineering coop or internship experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills
  • Highly motivated and takes initiative

Compensation Statement:

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $72000 $75000 annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
