You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch) the University of Washington (UW) and Seattle Childrens Hospital (SCH) are jointly recruiting a fulltime faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level without tenure due to funding (WOT) commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Department of Pediatrics at the UW. The primary appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. Academic appointment at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience qualifications and academic rank. University of Washington assistant professors WOT are eligible for multiyear appointments and associate professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that both align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
The selected individual for the advertised position is expected to contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding clinical care and developing excellence in clinical research related to the field of pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation. Specifically we are seeking individuals for this position who will have clinical and research efforts primarily focused on transplantation for malignant conditions immunotherapy or other relevant areas of pediatric transplantation. Fred Hutch and University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research and service.
This position is paid directly by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and receives no UW compensation. Please refer to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for information about compensation for this position.

The ideal candidate should have a record of and primary interest in pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation as well as an active clinical research interest as demonstrated by peerreviewed publications in the application of transplantation to the treatment of human disease.
Applicants must have an MD and/or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) posess or be eligible for medical licensure in Washington State and have US board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H1B visa graduates of foreign (nonU.S. medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
