- Develop and implement outfitting designs for shipbuilding and offshore projects ensuring seamless integration of structural and functional components.
- Create innovative basic design solutions for outfitting elements such as heli pads stairs and railings meteorological masts LSA equipment cranes lifts doors and interior accommodation (MLQ).
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations classification rules and customer requirements throughout the design and approval process.
- Conduct technical analyses and simulations to verify design feasibility safety and functionality under realworld conditions.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers shipyards and classification societies to ensure smooth project .
- Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency quality and sustainability in outfitting design.
- Degree in Naval Architecture Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- multiple years of experience in outfitting design within the shipbuilding or offshore industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and basic design principles for outfitting systems.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and classification requirements.
- Fluent englisch (spoken and written) Skills
- At least B1level German proficiency is required.
- Strong problemsolving skills structured working approach and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
