Job Description
Set in the New England Region of New South Wales and close to the small town of Walcha Aberbaldie Station operates a large trading enterprise with a selfreplacing Angus breeding herd across almost 4000ha of improved and native pastures. With gently undulating hills and some steeper country ranging in elevation from 970m up to 1200m it is one of Paraways most elevated properties.
The role of Overseer is responsible for implementing work programs and coordinating the stations day to day operations under the direction of the Station Manager. Supervision and mentoring of team members with a key focus on delivering excellent husbandry practices and maintenance of fixed infrastructure (fences yards plant etc).
This position is an important part of the leadership team at Aberbaldie and will be expected to demonstrate Paraways values of Accountability Integrity and Opportunity with a commitment to safety and contribute to a collaborative and productive environment.

To be successful you will have a mature mindset positive attitude strong communication skills enjoy working in a team have solid experience in grazing and pasture management and support best practice livestock handling and production. You must be experienced using side by side vehicles and have your own working dog/s and or working horse/s. Ag tech experience is necessary in particular AgriWebb Farmbot and Gallagher Weigh Scale.
The successful applicant will be required to live on farm with accommodation in a comfortable 2bedroom house with utilities provided. Remuneration is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
