You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAmeristar Perimeter Security USA an ASSA ABLOY branded company is looking for a Operator. This position will beresponsible for the tube mill operations and equipment of the mill to insure continuous operation during the shift.
What you will be doing:
Safety quality priorities above all
Focus on the keeping the mill operational
Maintain clean safe organized work area 5S
Cross Training of team members on parts programming and mill set ups
TPM of process and equipment in the area
Coordinate daily and weekly activities with department supervisorPerform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
Minimize s
Work with maintenance hands on to get issues resolved in a timely manner.
The skills and experience you need:
High School diploma or GED Equivalent
Good mechanical aptitude
Experience in using special measuring devices micrometer calipers tape measureMust be able to read set up charts supplied by OEM and interpret them to roll tooling adjustments.Change out cut off jaws blades and refill oil levels of equipment
Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling
Must be able to document down time through seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking
Good communication skills with coworkers to insure continuous flow of the mill and material handler for proper tagging of product
Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill
Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities
