All (United States of America)Summary of Primary Function:
Serve as an EMS educator for Toledo Fire Continuing Education and Mercy Health EMS Division utilizing cutting edge simulation equipment. Develop Curriculum for the TFRD Continuing Education with the approval of TFRD Medical Director.
Essential Job Functions
Focus on TFRD Continuing Education
Operate clean and maintain all simulation equipment and supplies
Develop educational material and clinical scenarios as required
Schedule coordinate and travel to all EMSD training events
Conduct training at hospitals and onsite at EMS agencies
Complete EVOC course and maintain NREMT BLS/CPR and EMS instructor certifications
Complete simulatorspecific training may require travel for offsite courses
Work with Vs simulation center and various EMS educators
Patient Population

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his or her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.

Combination of postsecondary education and experience in lieu of a degree.
