What will you be doing
We are looking for a Principal Java Engineer who is capable of contributing to new and existing web applications by creating/maintaining microservices as well as standalone java applications. Our solution is a high visibility product that integrates with internal and external customer data to provide insights into customer provided product/competitor sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to build and unit test microservices written in java using Spring Boot framework.
- Create and maintain integration and regression testing framework on Jenkins integrated with GIT repositories.
- Participate in the agile development process and document and communicate issues and bugs relative to web services in scrum meetings.
- Work collaboratively with both the onsite and offshore teams.
- Ability to solve problems work on defects and production issues.
- Participate in code release production deployment and production support.
- Train and support junior engineers.
- Work with multiple stake holders to design implement test and support application solution.
Requirements:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science preferably.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Java applications.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the following java libraries and tools: Spring Boot lombok gradle/maven git java 8 bash JPA.
- Good implementation experience of OOPS concepts.
- Handson experience writing SQL queries
- Ability to build abstracted modularized reusable code components.
- Able to quickly adapt and learn.
