Job Description

Overview

We are Hiring at UofL Health Frazier Rehab Institute

Location: 220 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville KY 40202

Shift Options: Part Time 7am7pm

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a Rehabilitation RN you will collaborate daily with physicians therapists and case managers to achieve the best outcome for patients who have experienced life altering events. In this role you will ensure appropriate plans of care are developed and implemented to meet patient needs for rehabilitation.

Area of Focus

  • Working with patients who are receiving rehab for the following reasons:
    • Stroke
    • Brain injuries
    • Pulmonary Hypertension
    • Brain Tumor or Cancer
  • Patients could also have trachs feed tubes VAD or need wound care

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association)


Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
