Job Description
Are you a people person who likes to be outdoors Solarus is seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our summer Event Crew. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with others and is looking to gain experience in a professional business and marketing environment.
As part of our Event Crew you will work collaboratively to serve as a brand ambassador in a variety of settings to include: corporate golf outings community events baseball games parades deliveries door tagging and more. Public speaking/communication social media digital photography copy writing and event planning experience are highly preferred.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of accountability. This is a parttime summer position that will require flexible scheduling with some early morning and evening hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate brand awareness and create positive interactions with an audience of all ages to promote sales and retention of Solarus services
Set up and break down of booth/table/interactive games at sponsored events
Maintain supply of promotional materials giveaways and raffle baskets
Miscellaneous office projects (mailings data entry shredding database cleanup etc. as assigned
Social media posting

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma required
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
Must be able to work both collaboratively with other team members and independently as appropriate
Minimal travel required for scheduled events
