Cambridge International Systems Inc. has a fulltime Senior Systems Engineer opportunity available based inStuttgart Germany. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD TS/SCI security clearance and experience with Speical Operations Forces (SOF). Applicants must meet TESA accreditation requirements. ***TESA Certification allows employees the to be tax exempt for both Germany and US in addition to other great perks***
Employees may be eligible for: relocation reimbursement housing allowance COLA and school reimbursement for dependents.
The Senior Systems Engineer will provide expert knowledge and operational contributions in a specific area of Special Operations Command Africas (SOCAFRICA) mission to fulfill requirements for comprehensive operational and knowledge management support and related operational architecture services. The Sr. Systems Engineer will oversee the operational effectiveness and data content during the current operational phase and must be capable of contributing to improved operations in the objective architecture developmental phase.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
Please note that any offer of employment is contingent upon a background investigation. In connection with working on certain federal contracts a drug screen may also be required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
- Must be an operational expert and subject matter thought leader capable of contributing to SOCAFRICA J3X operational architectures and testing new procedures
- Has familiarity with a key SOCAFRICA operational area such as RSO Desk Officer ASO SAPO or Foreign Disclosure
- Must understand concepts practices and procedures in the SOF Sensitive Activities Subject Matter Expertise area
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of demonstrated experience in the specific technical field or 7 years of demonstrated work experience in the specific technical field.
- 10 years of experience with U.S. Special Operation Forces (SOF) required. SOF experience is defined as: an individual having successfully completed a SOCOMapproved SOF assessment and selection process and whom has 10 years executing various SOF operations and missions at the unit level.
- Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance current CI Poly is preferred.
- Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.
- In rare occasions overnight travel may be required.
- Active Passport in support of OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
- Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above) Vaccine Recommendations by AOR Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.
- Must be able to work in an office environment sitting at a desk looking at a computer for most of the workday.
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting walking standing etc.
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
