Job Description
Introduction
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyors (PRQS) to join our Cape Town based client. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fastpaced environment and possess a strong understanding of all aspects of quantity surveying.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects.
- Preparation and submission of valuations variations and final accounts.
- Cost control and reporting including forecasting and budgeting.
- Procurement and management of subcontractors.
- Risk assessment and mitigation.
- Providing accurate and timely cost advice to clients and project teams.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PRQS) with a minimum of 23 years of postregistration experience.
- Proven track record in managing a variety of construction projects.
- Proficiency in relevant QS software (e.g. WinQS).
