Job Summary: As a Senior Consultant Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines resources and budgets.
- Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Team Collaboration:
- Lead crossfunctional project teams including developers engineers QA and business analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Communicate project expectations progress and changes to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status risks and issues.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Technology Integration:
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.
- Understand and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Implement best practices for project management and technology integration.
- Conduct postproject evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Project Management or a related field.
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certification is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on technology projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello MS Project).
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure) is a plus.
