PROGRAMMING UNREAL ENGINE
What We Do
Unrealpowered projects have been on the bleeding edge of realtime entertainment for over 20 years. Our team of programming experts are always innovating to improve the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.
What Youll Do
You will lead a team of highly experienced programmers working on core components of Unreals rendering engine such as the Render Hardware Interface Render Graph streaming system profiling and debugging systems etc. You will tie together all the initiatives happening in this space and form a coherent vision for keeping Unreal at the forefront of innovation.
In this role you will
- Design build and support state of the art rendering infrastructure used to drive Unreal Engine forward
- Have authority and responsibility for projects that have high organizational impact
- Work directly with partners and licensees to align the engine to practical use cases
- Manage a team of highly skilled experienced rendering programmers
- Devise development plans
What were looking for
- Experience in a lead programmer role with demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- People management skills: mentoring and motivating programmers delivering feedback conflict resolution building trust
- Strong C skills and the ability to code and architect lowlevel rendering systems
- Broad knowledge of graphics APIs such as D3D11 D3D12 Vulkan Metal and console platforms
- Great debugging and profiling skills
- Deep understanding of GPUs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Unreal Engine experience is ideal

Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but arent limited to) things such as skills and competencies qualifications knowledge and experience. In addition to base pay most employees are eligible to participate in Epics generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
