Supernal provides an inviting openspace workplace designed to foster collaboration which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work onsite 5 days a week.
What we do:
The Paralegal supports Supernals evergrowing legal needs and the Legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel the Paralegal will support the Legal team in all areas including litigation document management legal research legal documentation correspondence drafting monitoring outside counsel billing and expenses and administrative support.
What you can do:
- Support the corporate secretarial function for the Company including maintaining corporate records governing documents permits licenses and filings and coordinating and conducting corporate filings ordering documents from Secretaries of State and managing the companys agent in connection therewith and responding to relevant inquiries regarding corporate information and corporaterelated matters.
- Assist with and supporting the General Counsel with various strategic initiatives including M&A activities corporate governance and equity and debt financing such as coordinating the preparation of disclosure schedules and other document
- Assist with maintenance of the companys IP portfolio (and liaising with outside counsel where applicable) including assisting with clearance and acquisition of copyrights and domain names and renewals
- Support managing litigation and other legal disputes for the Company including issuing and cataloging hold notices and assisting with document collection and retention maintaining case files and correspondence with the Companys outside counsel and parties
- Draft and review agreements correspondence and other documents as necessary
- Review process reconcile and track legal invoices
- Assist in the development generation implementation maintenance and refinement of forms processes and procedures with respect to the Companys Legal function
- Ability to travel up to 10 domestically and internationally
- Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
- A Bachelors degree from accredited university preferred
- Paralegal certificate
- A minimum of three 3 years of relevant experience; inhouse experience preferred
- Highly organized detailoriented creative efficient and resourceful with strong followthrough
- Strong work ethic and sense of professionalism and discretion
- Demonstrated accountability integrity good judgment and respect for confidentiality
- Ability to engage effectively with all levels of employees and management across the organization
- Ability to simultaneously manage workloads multiple client demands and shifting priorities within a fast paced rapidly evolving environment under tight timelines
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical with exceptional business and legal issue identification and problemsolving skills
- Ability to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive find a way attitude to the workplace
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills experience jobrelated knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$90000 $110000 USD
