The Business Intelligence Developer will be a key member of the Citys Information Systems team playing a vital role in shaping the direction of data usage within the City. This position will involve creating reporting and analytics providing decisionmakers with actionable insights and collaborating with business partners across the City to gather requirements. The developer will support enterprise data projects identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create meaningful data visualizations that business partners can leverage to effectively manage the City of Saint Paul. Additionally the role will contribute to promoting a datadriven culture throughout the City.

A Bachelors Degree in Information Management Computer Technology or related field; and four 4 years of vacancyrelated work experience or vacancyrelated technical school certificate and six 6 years of work experience related to the vacancy.
Work experience must have included business analysis and project definition that would allow one to gain a good understanding of technology relevant to the vacancy.
Professional experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis. A combination of education and experience must total 8 years or more.
May require a valid Minnesota Class D Drivers License or equivalent outofstate drivers license.
