Job Description

Advanced Behavioral Health Inc. is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator who is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for our growing organization. This role will also support HR Generalist functions within the HR Team.

ABH is a family centered mental health program that offers a wraparound approach to treatment. We specialize in Psychiatry OffSite Counseling Services OnSite therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring. Location: Frederick MD
Status: FullTime; Exempt
Office Hours: Monday Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm typical 40hour work week
Compensation: $55000 $70000 annual
Travel: Occasional travel is expected for this position for career fairs networking events and other recruitingrelated activities.

Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Functions:
  • Manage the fullcycle recruitment process including sourcing screening reference checks and interviewing for a variety of roles across the organization.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role industry standards and the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions and candidate profiles.
  • Assists with the management of job postings across various job boards.
  • Analyzes job advertisements to maximize visibility and attract top talent.
  • Monitors and identifies potential candidates on various job boards and professional networks proactively reaching out to highquality talent and maintaining a pipeline of prospective hires for current and future openings.
  • Establishes and maintains strong partnerships with external recruitment agencies negotiates contracts and oversees their recruitment activities to ensure alignment with organizational hiring needs quality standards and time allotment.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local universities and colleges to create a pipeline of emerging talent and promote the organizations employer brand on campuses.
  • Research and implement valid and reliable prescreening tools and assessments.
  • Ensures compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Drive inclusive recruitment efforts by sourcing and selecting top talent while implementing strategies to meet organizational diversity and inclusion goals.

Generalist Functions:
  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Support HR compliance by assisting with recordkeeping policy updates and adherence to labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs including enrollment updates and addressing employee questions.
  • Address employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist HR team as needed with specialty projects and/or initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Previous experience as a Recruiter or similar role required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with applicanttracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
