Job Description

Position Summary
A fulltime Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Professors Andrew C. Zelhof and Michael Wade in the Department of Biology at Indiana University Bloomington. The project addresses and test CRISPR /Cas9 mediated manipulation of the Tribolium genome and limitations to Cas9 mediated gene drive systems. This position requires either a Bachelors Masters Degree in Biology or a related field and previous research experience in both genetics (model organisms e.g. Drosophila Tribolium Zebrafish) and molecular biology. This position requires a positive attitude and solid work ethic as well as good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a laboratory setting.
