The Platform Team @ Pave
The Platform team sits at the epicenter of Pave Engineering. As a member of the Developer Platform team you will be tasked with designing and implementing scalable secure cloud infrastructure and creating the development tooling and processes that enable Pave engineers to ship enterprisequality software with high velocity. You will play a technical leadership role by providing design and architectural guidance to product teams establishing foundational technologies patterns and practices and helping to shape Paves technical roadmap.
What Youll Bring:
- 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in backend software development.
- Experience using observability tooling to monitor profile and optimize web applications.
- Experience incorporating security best practices in large technical designs.
- High developer empathy. Passionate about improving the quality of life of fellow engineers.
- Experience leading large technical projects with high ambiguity and numerous stakeholders.
- oriented. Eager to not only design technical solutions but also dive into the technical weeds and drive implementation
What Youll Be Doing:
- Architect build and manage enterprisegrade cloud infrastructure to support the security & compliance requirements of Paves largest most sophisticated customers.
- Develop a bestinclass development experience equipping engineers with the tooling that enables rapid highquality software development.
- Develop foundational components and patterns with builtin security observability and performance that allows product engineers to focus on driving customer value.
- Define Engineering best practices and drive adoption across the organization.

This salary range may include multiple levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of Paves total compensation package for employees. What can I expect in interviewing at Pave
At Pave we value intellectual honesty and transparency and we bring this to our interview process. Throughout your time interviewing with us we will be evaluating where you can best make an impact through multiple conversations with your recruiter hiring manager peers crossfunctional partners and leadership. We also use our interviews to determine leveling which is finalized at the end of your interview process by your hiring manager. The majority of our roles have 35 interview rounds. You can expect to hear back from our team within 2 days after each interview round. Once we extend an offer we hope to hear back from you within 3 days. It is extremely important to us that we find a great mutual fit were excited to get to know you!
