Purpose of Job

To succeed in our ambitions we need sound environmental and social performance data management governance and reporting and disclosures.
The role of the Sustainability Reporting Associate is to take responsibility for the data and ensure its quality and use that data to drive the required change within the business. This does not include first level data capture but rather review and oversight.
Key Outputs
First level data review and scrutiny for validity accuracy and completeness
Work with data owners across Africa and provide technical and subject matter support and guidance where needed
Help to ensure reporting deadlines are maintained
Assist data reporting staff at a site level when issues are identified
Perform all sustainability calculations
Maintain and improve existing templates and databases
Assess data from reporting offices
Train and upskill data officers
Support and report on the Supply Chain Net Zero aspects related to SBTs
Experience
Experience in monitoring measurement and disclosure of Sustainability KPIs
Technical expertise in understanding international best practice in terms of ESG standards particularly in reporting
Experience working with large data data management and data analytics
Experience working with sustainability performance measures
Practical experience in working at a site level to ensure validity accuracy and completeness of data
Experience working with sustainability performance measures

Experience in carbon reporting
Experience in professional services (highly desirable)
Qualifications
Graduate degree in relevant discipline
