Job Summary
Schedule: Emergency Department Per Diem includes weekend and holiday rotation required. The Unit Service Technician provides a broad range of care and services to Patients including but not to limited to EKG phlebotomy equipment cleaning and stocking of rooms under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Performs a wide range of secretarial duties including but not limited to organizing paper work answering the phone paging and receiving of Emergency Department patients into the meditech computer system. Provides safe accurate transportation of patients throughout the hospital. Performs 1:1 sitting when necessary. The Unit Service Technician of the Emergency Department will also assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.Grade: 135
