Manage Operations

Develop business operating strategies for the Broadband Services organization under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.

Responsible for established budgets for specific broadband service regional areas and implement cost control measures regarding expenses analyze and manage financial data and capital and expense budgets and establish operational objectives and work plans.

Manage the service offerings repair service maintenance splicing and warehouse functions of the regional operating district and ensure that highquality reliable services are provided to customers on a timely basis.

Responsible for the Regional Profit and Loss (P&L) of the Regional Service Area

Provides superior leadership including the ability to identify key business drivers influencing others to ensure all installation and maintenance functions are performed to meet and exceed customer expectations and company objectives.

Responsible to ensure that installation and maintenance service levels are maintained the operating and equipment budget is created and administered.

Liaison between ITCs clients and other internal departments/divisions to coordinate clients directives schedules goals input and project timelines.

Manage multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining a high productivity rate dictated by ITCs client.

Responsible for working within the framework of the overall operation by blending department responsibilities into an efficient effective result.

Demonstrate the ability to plan organize and schedule multiple projects and staff to accommodate rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.

Develop relationships with direct reports including supervisors technicians office personnel and corporate office superiors and directors building a strong positive team.

Manages the operations of a specified geographical area this includes but is not limited to the management of all field supervisors and technical employees building a positive corporate image.

Take part in development initiatives including business development and promotion of our customer centric driven culture.


Manage the operation with minimal safety issues and manage the production levels profitably.

Organize the Operations

Develop training to ensure we provide quality services train technicians to ensure that each technician knows how to perform each step of the Installation & Repair/Splicing process according to Clients standards; identify best practices techniques and processes and communication to technicians in a clear concise and professional manner.

Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to develop and maintain compliance with a material management system to ensure CPE and consumables are properly inventoried and maintained.

Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to develop and maintain compliance with an asset management system to ensure the company maintains its assets in good condition.

Control the Operations

Forecast control and implement capacity plans in collaboration with the Client Services Manager for the Broadband Department and projects analyze capital expenditure requests and implement cost control measures regarding expenses ensuring all measures are within the company guidelines.

Assist the Regional Director of Operations in overseeing and participating in the development and administration of the annual budget; participate in the forecast of funds for staffing equipment materials and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; implement adjustments.

Purchase assets as required within the company guidelines.

Work with Administration to ensure the employee has all the necessary items to perform his/her work correctly.

Ensure the companys property is protected; theft and all violations of safety are promptly reported.

Reporting

Provide status reports to management as requested in a timely manner.

Ensure that Supervisor reviews are completed as per the companys guidelines.

Produce weekly productivity reports in a timely manner.

Provide expenses reports weekly as per the companys guidelines.

Maintain Personnel

Monitor employees work levels and review work performance.

Counsel employees about workrelated issues and assist employees to correct jobskill deficiencies.

Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as hires promotions transfers discharges and disciplinary measures.

Inspect and monitor work areas examine tools and new equipment and provide employee safety training to prevent detect and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.

Plan manage assign direct and evaluate Broadband Department supervisors ensuring they are following company policies and safety procedures.

Develop and establish technical and operating standards installation/splicing standards corrective and preventative maintenance standards equipment and site inspection standards and overall installation/splicing performance standards.

Contact each employee placed at least once a month to ask if there are any employee issues or if employee has suggestions for running a smoother organization.

Network with existing employees to find other qualified people and opportunities for placement of additional people with the client.

Manage & Develop the team by providing insight and coaching monitoring performance and assessing progress over time whilst engaging team members in team building events as well.

Directly responsible for the leadership and development of a team of supervisors and nonexempt associates ensuring team participation and a positive working environment.

New Business Development (Existing Clients)

Set milestones and create a progress report that would help identify prospective business potentials with existing client.

Market to existing clients and identify additional business opportunities within that clients company. Prepare Hourly/Daily/Production rate Bids (as required).

Know and understand all aspects of ITCs client contract per your specific regional area

Job Requirements

  • Typing 45 WPM
  • Software: MS Word MS Excel Access Powerpoint Outlook Express and any other software programs as required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written.Excellent spelling and comprehensive skills.
  • Ability to cultivate a positive and productive field services team through example coaching and team development.
  • Management Skills: Prior management experience required.
  • Education:BA/BS degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of experience in the staffing industry preferably the telecom Industry
  • Solid knowledge of electrical codes and standards relative to residential or commercial communications.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works in inclement weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.

Attendance

Employee is expected to be on the job and on time every scheduled workday. Work hours are flexible and employee needs to monitor own schedule according to clients needs. If it is necessary that you will be absent or late for any reason employee needs to call direct Director of Broadband Services by 8:00 am on the first and each subsequent day the employee will be absent or late. If employee is absent for more than 3 days a doctors note (explanation) is required.
