Product Manager Intern

Guidewire seeks a Product Management Intern to support BillingCenter enhancements specifically focusing on making broker billing operations more efficient. You will collaborate with product managers engineers services solution consultants and SMEs to improve BillingCenters capabilities and streamline the management of the agencys book of business to reduce operational expenses through automation.

What you will do

• Research & Analysis:

  • Investigate inefficiencies in agency billing reconciliation and identify opportunities for automation.

  • Investigate and Benchmark competitor billing systems and best practices in automated reconciliation.

• Feature & Product Development Support:

  • Assist in defining feature requirements to improve BillingCenters agency billing capabilities based on the Product Requirements Document (PRD).

  • Work with engineering and UX teams to develop user stories for automation of cash reconciliation exception handling and broker billing workflows.

• Agentic AI Exploration:

  • Collaborate with engineering to evaluate Agentic AI solutions for automating remittance processing and payment matching.

  • Define metrics to measure AIs impact on billing efficiency and cost reduction.

• User Experience & Process Optimization:

  • Gather feedback from customers brokers and internal stakeholders on existing BillingCenter workflows.

  • Collaborate with UX and propose UI/UX improvements for selfservice portals to enhance broker billing operations.

• Final Report & presentation to the Stakeholders:

  • Prepare reports and presentations outlining insights proposed solutions and potential cost savings.

  • Assist in documenting new billing workflows and automation features for internal and external training materials.

  • Present your findings to the stakeholders as your final deliverable

About You

• Curious and customerfocused with a product mindset you think beyond features and focus on solving real customer problems.

• Strong discovery skills you can define the problem space ask the right questions and leverage data to uncover pain points and opportunities.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Computer Science Data Science Finance or a related field with an expected graduation date from Spring 2025 to Spring 2026

• Analytical and structured thinker you can break down complex challenges identify patterns and frame solutions that align with business goals.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable product strategies.

• Collaborative and adaptable able to work effectively with product managers engineers and business stakeholders to drive solutions forward.

• Comfort with ambiguity You enjoy tackling openended challenges and iterating on ideas based on discovery and feedback.

The US base salary range for this fulltime position is $50000 $96000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
