Position Summary
The Lakshmanane Lab at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a creative energetic and motivated postdoctoral fellow to investigate the binding and functional properties of antibodies developed after viral infection and vaccination. We utilize structural biology heterologous protein expression biochemical and biophysical techniques immunoassays and clinical samples. The research position offers an excellent opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary area to gain experience in basic and translational research using stateoftheart approaches in molecular biology flow cytometry biochemistry protein design expression and purification and imaging. Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience in biochemistry cell culture structural biology flow cytometry immunoassays molecular biology or imaging
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Expertise in biophysical techniques or flow cytometry methods is highly preferred. The candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills be selfmotivated think critically and work independently
