Description
Come join Tyler Technologies as a Senior PHP Software Engineer! The Enterprise Supervision team is looking for experienced Software Engineers to help build products and features that will enable the growth of Tylers Supervision Case Management product.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of highquality scalable software solutions working closely with crossfunctional teams to meet business needs. You will play a key role in delivering highimpact projects ensuring code quality performance and scalability. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with team members to solve complex technical challenges and continuously improve our products and processes.
Note: This is a hybrid position which requires the candidate to be in the Plano TX or Modesto CA office at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and support scalable highperformance and secure applications.
- Participate in analyzing designing writing and testing code documenting and implementing functionally appropriate technically sound and wellintegrated application systems.
- Maintain existing application programs by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies in both previously released software and software slated for future release.
- Ensure the integrity of programs modules and systems through comprehensive testing and strict adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Work through all phases of the software development life cycle including research design analysis requirements implementation test automation and maintenance.
- Utilize new technologies and tools to modify products and provide integration with applications developed internally and externally.
- Create and update documentation for Enterprise Supervision software solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or comparable work experience.
- 4 years of SaaS or webbased development experience.
- Deep understanding of software development principles design patterns and best practices.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering scalable performant web applications.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms especially Amazon Web Services (AWS) including handson work with scaling and optimizing applications.
- Expertise in modern web technologies including JavaScript HTML/CSS and building Web Components.
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and database technologies with an emphasis on MySQL.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
