This position provides nonclinical case management support to students facing challenges by evaluating their concerns and identifying the appropriate interventions and resources assist them. Serves as a campus resource by developing and presenting resource materials and inperson workshops for Housing and Residence Life staff and campus partners focusing on students of concern. They coordinate outreach efforts to students and staff to facilitate support and serve as a liaison to University departments and individuals (on and off campus) to consult and advise on students of concern. This person will serve on the Behavior Intervention Team participate in the Retention Working Group and act as the primary contact for the Sooner Works and Spark360 programs. They will conduct programs activities and events for students and staff promoting mental health and wellness.
Student Outreach and Support:
- Assesses situations involving students of concern and determines the type of intervention needed and appropriate courses of action.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all case management activities in compliance with university policies and applicable laws.
- Meets regularly with students of concern to assist in connecting them with resources and helping them to matriculate through the University.
- Interfaces with parents faculty and staff to address issues related to students of concern adequately.
- Serves as a liaison to Housing and Residence Life and other campus partners and individuals to consult and advise on students of concern related issues.
- Participates in weekly case management Behavior Intervention Team Retention Working Group Housing and Residence Life and Sooner Works meetings.
- Responsible for the follow up of all residential student transports
- Serve as the primary point of contact for specialized programs including Sooner Works and Spark360.
- Maintains accurate and ongoing student arrest records for residential students to followup and support as necessary.
Student/Staff Resources and Development
- Develops and administers resource materials and inperson workshops/seminars/classes for Housing and Residence Life staff on topics such as mental health crisis intervention supporting students of concern and fostering wellness. Provides consultation to Residence Life staff on student concerns and crises.
- Coordinates outreach efforts to students and staff to facilitate support.
- Maintains directory of resources available to students including resources for students with financial needs.
Administrative
- Researches collects and analyzes data or information and prepares reports or responses to inquiries. Contributes to departmental reports by summarizing case management metrics and outcomes.
- Monitors and maintains a budget for designated area.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or required

Required Education: Bachelors Degree AND:
- 12 months in student programming student services or closely related experience.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 60 months experience.

Certifications:
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Regular pressure to meet productivity standards.
- Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must not ever have had a felony conviction for abuse of any kind theft sexual distribution of or other similar conviction.
- Perseverance both physically and mentally for fastpaced and demanding responsibilities required.
- Frequent and repetitive arm and wrist movement.
- As essential personnel you may be required to work during emergency University closings to include inclement weather.
- Nights early mornings and weekends may apply.
Department Preferences:
- Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in Higher Education Social Work Counseling or related.
- 24 months in student conduct residence life student services or related position at a higher education institution.
- Case management experience.
- Knowledge of Roompact StarRez Maxient or similar tools preferred.
Supervision:May supervise a graduate student and will report to the Assistant Director of Residence Life.
