The basics of this position:

Teach a wide range of courses in Information Technology programs such as Unix/Linux Hardware and Software Cisco Networking Academy including VoIP and firewalls Microsoft Server VMware Cloud AI or Cybersecurity classes.
There is a potential to teach a wide range of courses in the Computer and Information Technology Programs such as Computer Programming (C# C Java Python etc. Database Scripting Web Development Version Control Computer Literacy Computer Application (MS Office Project Management) and Software and Hardware Architecture.
Assists in maintaining instructional equipment helps develop curriculum and participates in department and college committees. Industry recognized certifications required to teach some courses. Teaching schedules vary between day evening and/or weekends. May assume a departmental leadership role.

Must be CISSP certified or be willing to complete the CISSP certification upon hiring.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in the subject field or a masters degree with at least thirty 30 approved graduate semester hours in the subject field and related fields.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Five 5 years of fulltime related work experience and prefer Industry certification(s) related to courses assigned.
Community College teaching experience and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students faculty and staff of diverse socioeconomic cultural and racial/ethnic backgrounds as well as diverse abilities/disabilities and sexual preferences.
