Summary
Performs a wide variety of electronic electromechanical mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components assemblies or subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in component installation and processing.
**This shift will be four 10hour shifts Sunday night starting at 10 PM and the last shift ending Thursday morning at 8:30 AM.
Job Description
- Assembles/processes product parts and assemblies using hand tools customized tooling and/or semiautomated equipment.
- Follows written process/assembly documentation.
- Inspects and tests parts assemblies and product using precision measuring and testing equipment.
- Adjusts process within defined ranges based on measured results.
- Adheres to all safety requirements.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Assists in maintaining efficient material flow through the work area.
- Actively participates on work area teams.
- Gains a basic understanding of material logistics.
- Participates in appropriate training to gain a basic understanding of several of business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow Statistical Process Control Process Documentation Empowerment Six Sigma methods Quality and/or Cost Improvement.
- Maintains all production and processing heat exchangers by repairing or assembling them and making sure they are installed on equipment properly. Troubleshoots heat exchanger issues.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions in the prevailing language spoken in the facility
- Able to work with a trainer under close leadership
Required Certifications and Training
- Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
Experience Level with Business Tools
- Familiar with business tools such as: Email Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Environment and Physical Demands
- Ability to stand the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. More lifting and amount of weight may be required depending on the work area
Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.

- Frequent lifting carrying pushing pulling or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies.
- Reaching above and below the shoulder frequently.
- Aboveaverage agility and dexterity with the ability to hold grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools constantly.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion such as long periods of standing walking bending crouching stretching reaching repetitive motion or similar activities.
- Work environments include exposure to chemicals electrical current proximity to moving mechanical parts repetitive hand motion working from heights cold environment hot environment fumes.
