We will count on you to:
- Work in tandem with source system and application teams to integrate and establish data pipelines using Databricks S3 Athena and other AWS services.
- Understand data landscape i.e. tooling tech stack source systems etc. and work closely with extended platform teams to improve data collection quality reporting and analytics capabilities
- Conceptualize and create PoCs to optimize data ingestion and ETL processing capabilities
- Build reusable and scalable data pipelines and new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity
- Be proactive and optimize SQL statements and processes
What you need to have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in computer science information technology or mathematics
- 4 years of relevant experience with Data Ingestion/ETL/ELT Big Data Data Lake in missioncritical platforms
- Experience with schema design and dimensional data modelling
- Strong SQL experience Python and PySpark development
- Experience working on AWS and related services (not limited to) such as Athena S3 Glue
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with rapidly changing expectations and requirements (Agile Scrum)
