Job Description
Overview
Element is seeking a motivated Associate Test Technician to join our team and contribute to cuttingedge aerospace testing. In this role you will build and execute diverse test programs that challenge the physical limits of mechanical hardware. From intentionally bursting hydraulic lines to firetesting fuel pumps and contaminating pneumatic valves your work will be critical in ensuring the reliability and safety of aerospace components. This position offers a dynamic and engaging environment where no two tests are the same making it an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for mechanics and problemsolving.
Salary: $25 $35/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble hydraulic pneumatic and fuel systems for testing
- Execute a variety of mechanical hardware tests with precision
- Capture and log test data using custom data acquisition systems
- Operate test equipment such as pumps compressors blowers motors and heaters
- Collaborate with lab personnel to enhance testing capabilities and facility improvements
- Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment to ensure smooth operation
Skills / Qualifications
- High school diploma GED or equivalent (college or vocational coursework preferred). 02 years of experience in a testingrelated field
- Basic understanding of mechanical testing concepts
- Proficiency with computers and data entry
- Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with sensors and basic electrical components
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools (a personal toolbox with essential tools is required; list provided upon hiring)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in fabrication machining or automotive work preferred but not required
Physical Demands:
- Moderate physical force required
- Ability to lift <50 lbs frequently often
- Capable of standing for extended periods
