About the Position:
We are seeking motivated candidates for the position of Auditor II in the Administrative Services Audit Division. As an Auditor II you will you will review administrative operating and accounting controls. Internal auditing is an independent objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organizations objectives. We do this by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management control and governance processes. You would be performing a wide range of professional auditing work under limited supervision and may act as a lead Auditor over other audit staff in larger assignments. You will play an important role in ensuring operational success and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Whether youre providing direct services supporting internal processes or driving key initiatives your role will be vital to the success of the team.

In this role you will:
- Gathering evaluating and analyzing original source internal controlsprocedures documents and records of Municipalities Nongovernmental
Registration Agents Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV)Branches and Main Office operations to ensure compliance with BMVstatutes rules regulations policies and procedures. - Determining if proper controls are established implemented andfollowed to safeguard Bureau assets.
- Preparing audit reports for Municipalities NongovernmentalRegistrations Agents BMV Branches and Main Office operations inaccordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Contribute to improving processes supporting new technologies and meeting the departments evolving needs.
Preferences will be given to candidates who have:
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing theories principles andpractices.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of General Account Office (GAO) and American Institute ofCertified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards for audit ofgovernmental organizations and private businesses.
- Ability to conduct independent audits of governmental units agenciesor business entities.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate administrative financial or operational systems and controls.
- A proven ability to work in a collaborative teamfocused environment.
Minimum Qualifications: (Entry level knowledges skills and/or abilities may be acquired through BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO the following coursework/training and/or experience).
- A Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field; andtwo 2 years experience in accounting/auditing;
- OR a six 6 year combination of education training and/or experience at a professional auditing or accounting level;
- OR a 5 year combination of education training and/or experience at a professional auditing or accounting level which includes one year experience at the Auditor I level.
