The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for providing clients with toptier customer service and excellence in management services. The Assistant Property Manager must demonstrate leadership and create trust with owners and tenants (both current and prospective) this position will involve applying experience and confidence to new and unusual situations and is tasked with supporting the property management portfolio team. To succeed the Assistant Property Manager must have a working knowledge of tenancy laws and regulations and be committed to the implementation of best practice. The Assistant Property Manager must always be seeking to improve their skills and invest in professional development.
- State Certification or holds a full License
- Technologically proficient
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Local area knowledge
- Computer proficiencyMicrosoft Office
- Managing Referrals across Departments
- Familiarity with the following:
- Federal and Fair Housing
- Residential Tenancies Act ORS Chapter 90
- Rent Control and Renter Relocation Requirements specif to Oregon and the City of Portland
- AntiDiscrimination Act
- Trade Practices and Fair Trading Acts
- Is highly organized with excellent time management
- Displays exceptional people skills with a customer service focus
- Has excellent dispute resolution skills with a passion for positive outcomes
- Has a proactive approach to systems and procedures
- Has a prolific work ethic and close attention to detail
- Has an understanding of the importance of the team and the individuals place in it
