Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
PhD MD or equivalent degree in biomedical sciences. A strong record of academic accomplishments in the cardiovascular renal and/or immunology/inflammatory disease disciplines. Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills. Assistant Professor level candidates must meet all requirements above. Associate Professor level candidates must meet all requirements above plus have at least four years of experience as an Assistant Professor with an exemplary scholarly portfolio and supervisory experience and meet all the Assistant Professor Promotion requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mentoring graduate and/or undergraduate students in the laboratory. Experience in teaching small group problembased learning sessions to medical students. Current holder of multiyear federal research award.
