The Quality Assurance Technician (QAT) provides leadership in the quality of the assembly and build processes in accordance with applicable ISO9001:2015 guidelines and Collins Aerospace internal requirements. The focus of the QAT is to identify existing and potential nonconformances through inspection and audits of selfinspection. The QAT will also help prevent defects through risk assessment and mitigation corrective action audits process improvement and Cost of Nonconformance (CoNC) analysis and reduction.
This role will be performed Onsite at our Collins Aerospace location in Salt Lake City UT.
What You Will Do
- Evaluates Collins Aerospace or supplier products and processes. Participates in crossfunctional efforts to ensure proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Maintains quality data records compiles information and prepares reports for internal and external customers.
- Performs preliminary review and Material Review Board analysis and disposition of nonconforming processes including First Article inspections.
- Applies quality standards for receiving inprocess and final inspection.
- Performs workmanship inspections.
- Performs hardware software and system product acceptance tests.
- Performs audits in accordance with Collins Aerospace/customer/industry standards reports results and assigns and monitors followup actions.
- Performs duties required by the Quality Management System
- Maintains equipment calibration and tooling tracking systems.
- Maintains radiation safety certification.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident orgranted refugee or asylee status) as definedhere: Qualifications:

- ASQ Certifications
- Metrics databases and statistical analysis

- Root Cause Analysis
- Excellent organizational skills people skills and communication skills
- Highly motivated and selfdirected; Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision and direction.

The salary range for this role is 56000 USD 112000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
