Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct theoretical/computational investigations of the interaction of 2D quantum materials and quantized light fields generation/absorption of entangled photons and propose new pathways to control photon properties. Report results to the foundry and publish these in relevant scientific journals. Assist the supervision of graduate and undergraduate students in their work associated to the MonArk Quantum Foundry. Provide scientific advice to students and staff with regards to generation and interpretation of data. Design and perform numerical quantum models of quantum lightmatter interactions. Integrate cuttingedge tools such as machine learning with such models for data interpretation and refined analysis. Collaborate with the quantum foundry faculty and staff towards the design and interpretation of frontier experiments theoretical/computational simulation of related phenomena and the advancement of the field. Assist in the preparation of reports related to scientific activities and achievements within the quantum foundry.
