About The Opportunity

Programmed Property Services is currently seeking an experienced and handson Qualified/Experienced Horticulturalist to join our team. This is an opportunity to work with a high performing team that provides grounds and garden maintenance to a large aged care village. Based in Durack you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens on site.

Nature of position: FullTime

Location: Durack Brisbane

Reporting line: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
• Routine mowing and turf maintenance
• Pruning and shaping across the grounds
• Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
• & pest control spraying and manual weeding
• Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures

About You

To join our team ideally you will be a qualified horticulturalist or have extensive experience within the industry with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally you will have

• Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens gardening and landscaping
• Current drivers license
• A chemical certificate is advantageous
• Current working with childrens check
• Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
• Execute work that is of a high standard
• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality environmental occupational health and safety management systems.
