We are seeking anEstimator (Head OfficeApplecross) with experience in Design and Construct projectsto continue growing our business.

Your Roles Duties and Responsibilities:
The Estimator helps prepare and submit tenders by handling tasks such as preparing RFQs managing tender communications with the client subcontractors and suppliers measuring quantities estimating project costs using first principles comparing subcontractors and suppliers quotations and putting together all tender costs and other tender materials.
- Assist with the identification of future business opportunities.
- Document and facilitate subcontractor and supplier tender documents and distribution lists including tender addendums or clarification notices.
- Provide measurement of quantities in line with the Companys contracting strategy.
- Provide analysis of quotations and pricing of works from first principles.
- Perform coding of all estimates per the Companys budget category breakdown schedules.
- Assist with the compilation of tender construction programmes.
- Development of technical and commercial clarifications
- Complete all required information for the compilation of tender submissions.
- Manage the compilation of tender submissions.
- Respond to client queries posttender submission and maintenance of posttender.
- Recast the estimate at the award for the establishment of project budgets.
- Establish and maintain historical costs for use in preparing budgets.
- Assist with negotiation and award of subcontracts supply agreements and purchase orders.
- Manage and facilitate the development of the preliminary design documentation process concerning tenders for designandconstruct projects to achieve the required outcomes.
- Review design drawings to ensure compliance.
- Assist the project team with pricing variations.
About you:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or Engineering.
- Equivalent combination within the construction Industry of experience education and training.
- 5 years experience in the Construction industry.
- Excellent Excel & familiarity with various estimating packages.
- Superior attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working on multiple disciplinary projects.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
