We have an opportunity for a Specialist Nurse to join their team of staff in the Oncology department.
This is a Part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or
- Registered Nurse Level 2 Relevant Competencies for the role.
- Surgical oncology experience i.e. postoperative care
- Willingness to develop or already hold:
- Breast care course / module
- Lymphodema management course
- Advanced communication skills
- Teaching experience
- Audit experience
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills required.
- Understanding on workload and shift management.
- Patient and caring approach to customer care
- Experience working in an oncology environment with completed SACT passport and post graduate course in SACT administration.
Duties of this role include:
- Required to work closely with both Medical and Surgical Oncologists
- Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
- Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
