Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for converting labeling and packaging various materials including pressuresensitive films linerboard wipers and sundries in an effective and highquality manner. Responsibilities:
- Operate converting machinery efficiently and safely.
- Perform machine setups to start production cycles and ensure proper operation.
- Compile and load raw materials into the machine ensuring correct measurements and portions.
- Monitor machine operation and conduct routine inspections to ensure product quality.
- Box bag sleeve and palletize finished products.
- Conduct minor maintenance and document preventative maintenance activities.
- At least 1 year of experience operating converting machinery in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to train on different machines including rewinders slitters sealers baggers and pallet jacks.
- Basic math skills including the ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 65 lbs.
