WHO WE ARE & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Under limited direction from the Manager of CovWorksShelter the Job Developer establishes and maintains relationships with employers and community organizations to develop job opportunities and support continued employment for youth. Coordinates daytoday activities such as soliciting employer interest and involvement in the employment of youth and posting opportunities and tracking placement data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following)
Education & Experience
High School or GED
At least 2 years of relate experience
Local economic and labor market conditions and trends.
Effective techniques for contacting potential employers.
Job development and job placement techniques.
Must have uptodate job bank.
Must possess complete knowledge of general computer fax copier scanner and telephone.
Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word Excel and the internet.
Possess the ability to adjust to constantly changing workloads and is able to prioritize duties. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using online social media networks and online broadcasting (meeting) applications such as zoom or Webex.
Bilingual Spanish/English/French a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
Local economic and labor market conditions and trends.
Salary range based on experience $47 500 $52 000.

Compensation
