DataPath Inc. is a global leader in remote satellitebased communications solutions that solve our customers toughest communications challenges in urgent time frames and under extreme conditions.We specialize in enabling complex communication networks that are critical to the operations of the Department of Defense Civilian Government and Commercial markets.Currently we are seeking aTechnical Control Facility (TCF) Operator.

This position supports the U.S. Army Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) Global Field Service Representative (FSR) Support Services program. The program provides FSR support of communications for the Government primarily for operability and sustainment of the Tacticaland Strategicantenna system such as the Deployable Ku Earth Terminal (DKET) Mobile DKET Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR)/NonSecure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) Access Point (SNAP) United States Marine Corps (USMC) Support Wide Area Network (SWAN) and Commercialization efforts Micro Very Small Aperture Terminal (mVSAT) VSAT Inflatable Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Terminal (ISA) CJNCC NETOPS Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS) Coalition Partner NetworkX (CPNX); and Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF)OIR AOwide Network but are not limited to only these terminals and support.

The TCF Operator performs a wide range of activities associated with the daytoday operation of the Technical Control Facility. This position operates the equipment necessary for ensuring a fast reliable and secure exchange of information.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate must be prepared to live and work in Romania.
  • Provide information and assistance resources that troubleshoot problems with computers or similar products on the network.
  • Perform laptop imaging.
  • Field trouble calls and create and manage trouble tickets in ticketing system.
  • Perform basic IP troubleshooting.
  • Build user accounts on the domain.
  • Add and remove computers map printers to a Microsoft domain and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Assign user accounts to appropriate groups and permissions.
  • Build exchange mailboxes and troubleshoot issues with email accounts.
  • Diagnose troubleshoot and restore technical service to enduser software and hardware problems.
  • Document trouble calls and computer/network actions for reporting purposes.
  • Plan install operate and maintain equipment in the TCF for the communication network.
  • Address capabilities and limitations of TCF equipment troubleshoot procedures security requirements and technology to install operate maintain and restore all links and circuits that terminate in or traverse the TCF.
  • Perform advanced corrective action on Technical Control Facilities to the chassis mounted component level.
  • Participate in daily and weekly work meetings as required.
  • Abide by all corporate Government and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Apply performance standards and quality control standards as directed by the Standard Operating Procedures of the company and the Government.
  • Perform other workrelated duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational and mission requirements.

Qualifications

This position requires:

  • US Citizenship
  • US DOD Secret Clearance
  • A valid current US Passport

  • Security Certification

Additional Requirements:

  • An Associates degree is preferred.
  • Must possess seven 7 years of experience in a military environment related to tactical network systems.
  • Eleven 11 years of recent related specialized experience in lieu of any degree.
  • Shall have knowledge of networks and network troubleshooting skills and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of and experience with desktop configuration active directory and
  • Must possess knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of multiplexors switches and routers.
  • Shall have knowledge of Global Positioning System (GPS) network timing schemes and devices.
  • Knowledge of signal flow wiring schematics network timing and signal conversion is required.
  • Must possess knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of IP networks.
  • Must have familiarity and experience with encryption devices and network encryptors for secure communication and information sharing across domains.
  • Shall have knowledge and familiarity with various networks in use within the European theater.
  • Technical documentation skills are required.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Must possess the ability to work efficiently and in a potentially highstress environment.
