Position Summary
The Marcolongo Lab at Villanova University is looking for postdoctoral students who can contribute to our NIH supported project examining biomimetic proteoglycans to molecularly engineer connective tissues including cartilage and disc. We are looking for a creative innovator who can work with us on new molecular/biomaterial chemistries to optimize connective tissue repair and regeneration. Our lab is focused on early and minimally invasive strategies to mitigate or reverse disease progression in connective tissues where often few clinically relevant treatment options exist. We have a history of basic and translational research and startups. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order. Diversity and inclusion have been and will continue to be an integral component of Villanova Universitys mission. The University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and seeks candidates who understand respect and can contribute to the Universitys mission and values.
