Duties & Responsibilities
As the Financial Analyst you will be responsible for the analytical part of the business providing accurate and databased information on companys profitability solvency stability and liquidity.
Duties:
Consolidate and analyse financial data (budgets income statement forecasts etc.
Develop financial models conduct benchmarking and process analysis
Stock
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
Provide analytical forecasting reporting and project support to senior management
Produce monthly reports which include key metrics financial results and variance reporting
Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new investment regulations or policies
Develop models that help with decisionmaking
Education and Experience:
BCom Accounting Degree
Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst
Proficient in spreadsheets databases MS Office and financial software applications
Handson experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
Outstanding presentation reporting and communication skills
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis corporate finance and information analysis
