Our client has been a leading name in technical plastic blow moulding design and manufacturing for over 40 years and is seeking a driven Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead their expansion into new markets. As part of a larger conglomerate and with significant growth already achieved theyre ready to diversify and capture new revenue streams. Based in the North West of England with over 18000m of covered floor space and part of a group with over 35 blow moulding machines and injection moulding machines Our client is primed for further expansion.

Profile:

This is more than just a senior business development role; its a pathway to becoming our sales Director. Youll have the opportunity to build a highperforming sales team starting with one direct report and shape the future of our sales strategy.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets outside of the automotive sector.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities leveraging our expertise in blow moulding and injection moulding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in target industries.
  • Lead mentor and grow a sales team.

What you will have:

  • A proven track record in business development ideally within the manufacturing sector (blow moulding or injection moulding a plus).
  • Strong network and access to markets beyond automotive.
  • Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.
  • Experience with technical sales and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
