Key Responsibilities:
Designing Cloud Solutions:
- Develop cloud architecture solutions to meet business objectives.
- Design scalable secure and costeffective cloud infrastructure.
- Choose appropriate cloud platforms and services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Cloud Strategy and Planning:
- Define the cloud strategy and roadmap.
- Identify risks opportunities and cloud migration strategies.
- Guide teams through cloud adoption and transformation processes.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Platform as a Service (PaaS) Software as a Service (SaaS):
- Design and implement solutions utilizing IaaS PaaS and SaaS based on requirements.
- Manage integrations between onpremises systems and cloud services.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that the cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Work with security teams to implement security best practices (e.g. encryption IAM policies).
Collaboration:
- Work closely with DevOps security networking and application teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations.
- Communicate technical solutions to nontechnical stakeholders.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to control costs.
- Implement cloud cost management strategies and tools.
Cloud Governance:
- Establish and enforce policies and governance frameworks for cloud usage.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track cloud performance and issues.
Stay Updated with Cloud Technologies:
- Keep abreast of new cloud technologies services and tools.
- Recommend new cloud technologies to improve the business environment.
