In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Help to manage the relationship between Emerson its divisions and key thirdparty vendors to ensure that the proper support and attention are given to the Emerson account; Negotiate favorable terms conditions and pricing with key third party vendors
  • Help formulate and create strategic communications targeted at Emerson executives or strategic partners; Bring a negotiation to closure
  • Drive communication programs that help ensure the dissemination of critical information to Emerson divisions regarding vendor relations and strategic programs
  • Manage corporate IT initiatives in a manner that drives adoption removes administrative roadblocks enhances communications and ensures that executive targets are met
  • Liaise between Emerson divisions and key vendors on strategic initiatives; Create and maintain an external network for information gathering
  • Help to identify new areas of opportunity for Emerson through project work and research; Create tracking mechanisms and financial models that aid in the management process

Who You Are:

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or IT preferred.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in strategic sourcing finance or asset management field
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders; Excellent analytical skills; Solid Teamwork Skills work well with a diverse team
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and excel under pressure; Strong informal leadership capabilities; Negotiating Experience

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of Excel and other tools that facilitate large volumes of data; Ability to create compelling presentations highly desired (PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize; Strong problemsolving skills
